ABOUT ME

I’ve been a dedicated practitioner of holistic wellness since 2016. I love empowering clients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of Aromatherapy and Essential Oils.

As a professional Aromatherapist, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I am always looking to introduce new treatments and therapies into my practice and believe that continued learning is important for any good Therapist.

Aromatherapy is an integrative complementary therapy that works hand in hand with traditional medicine to foster holistic wellness. As a complementary therapy and wellness modality, it can be integrated into every aspect of your life to promote balance, relaxation, well-being and wellness. Clinical studies have shown Aromatherapy can be helpful in managing many health concerns including anxiety and depression, chronic adrenal fatigue, arthritis and musculoskeletal pain, digestive imbalances, dermatological and cosmetic conditions, and respiratory complaints to name a few.

My wellness clinic incorporates traditional and self-selection methods into my therapies. I listen to my clients to understand the causes of their chronic concerns and work with them to create individualised wellness and selfcare plans. I also adopt a symptomatic approach toward acute conditions and for short term relief. I promote ongoing care which is provided through follow-up reviews and appointments.

Both Humans and Animals are welcome in my wellness clinic. A lot of my Human clients originally brought their pets to my clinic for therapy, and they were impressed with the results that they asked if I could offer them Aromatherapeutic options for their concerns. I love working with animals and find their responses to Aromatherapy. Through my experiences with animals under my care, I have made the following three observations... 1. Animals just wants to be well, 2. The placebo effect does not work on animals, and 3. Animals know instinctively what they need to improve their wellness... Isn't that fascinating! Animals heal because they "want to be well", and choose the things they know will make them feel better. I have to tell you us humans can learn a lot from our pet.

I believe the key to wellness, well-being and selfcare, is to build a reliable health care team to help you achieve your wellness goals and treat you holistically as a unique individual. This team often includes your GP, Aromatherapist, Remedial Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, Nutritionist, Herbalist,  Acupuncturist, TCM Practitioner, Psychologist and Dentist. Having the support of a team of trusted health care professionals, increases your confidence to follow your intuition about your own health, which in turn empowers you to take back control of your wellness, well-being in Mind Body and Soul and overall improve your quality of life.
